The short version
Life OS holds personal information about your life. It is yours. Nobody else using Life OS can see it, and access is enforced by the database itself rather than only by the application.
What we hold, and for how long
| Data | Why | Kept |
|---|---|---|
| Email address and password | To sign you in | Until you delete your account |
| Profile and preferences | To show the app the way you want it | Until you delete your account |
| Avatar image | Only if you upload one | Until you remove it or delete your account |
| Security history | So you can see sign-ins and changes to your account | 90 days |
| Privacy policy acceptance | Evidence of the basis on which we hold your data | Until you delete your account |
Your IP address is never stored in readable form. It is hashed before it reaches your security history, and is used only to spot suspicious sign-ins.
Your choices
- Delete your account. Settings → Account → Delete account. Your personal records are removed and you can no longer sign in. This cannot be undone.
- Export your data. You have the right to a copy of what we hold. Self-service export is being built; until it ships, ask and we will provide it.
- See your security history. Settings → Security shows every sign-in, password change and account action from the last 90 days.
Where your data lives
Your data is stored in the European Union. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train anything.
